Who we are: Miami Impact Windows & Doors is a Miami company that does one thing: replaces windows and doors with impact-rated products approved by Miami-Dade County. One team measures, permits and installs your project, so there is always one number to call.

The family behind the work
This is a family business. It was incorporated in Miami-Dade in 2012, and the people who own it also run it day to day, from the estimate to the final inspection. Two family members hold the company's state licenses in their own names: a certified general contractor license and a certified glass and glazing license. When you call, you reach people who answer for the work themselves, not a sales office that hands the job to whoever is free.
The office sits in northwest Miami-Dade, next to Hialeah. That puts most of the county, from Miami Lakes down to Kendall and across to Miami Beach, within an easy drive for a measure or a follow-up visit.
Why we only do impact openings
Miami-Dade sits in Florida's High Velocity Hurricane Zone, which has the strictest window and door rules in the state. Every product needs a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance for its size and pressure, and the permit goes to whichever of the county's 34 cities, or the county itself, covers your address. Doing only this work means those details are handled the same careful way on every job.

Ask about your buildingDoors are a specialty
Many companies treat doors as an add-on to a window job. Here they get the same attention. Beyond sliders, French doors and entry doors, we install fiberglass and metal doors, pivot doors and folding glass doors, along with the hardware that goes on them, from standard locksets to smart locks. On the window side we also build mullions, screens and custom shapes, including round, oval and six-sided windows.
Common standard sizes are kept in stock. When your openings match those sizes, the wait for fabrication can be much shorter than a fully custom order, and we will tell you at the measure which openings qualify.
English or Spanish
The team speaks both. Tell us which you prefer when you call, and the measure, the written quote and the walkthrough at the end can all happen in that language.
How we work with you
- You call or send the form. Tell us which windows or doors, and anything about the building we should know.
- We measure in person. Every opening, plus the frame and stucco around it. We never price from photos.
- You get a written quote. A price for each opening, with the product and its NOA number listed.
- We permit and order. We file the permit and your units are built to the measured sizes.
- We install and close it out. The crew installs, seals and cleans up, then we meet the inspector and close the permit.
What you get in writing
- The size and location of every opening
- The product, frame color and glass for each one
- The Miami-Dade NOA number for every product
- How each opening will be installed and finished
- Who files the permit and books the inspections
- The total, the payment schedule and what is not included

Licensing and insurance
Florida license CGC1524371. Insured. The company also holds a Florida certified glass and glazing license, SCC131152031. Both licenses are held by family members who run the business, and you can look either one up on the state's license search. Condo associations and building managers can request our certificates of insurance before any work is scheduled.
Questions about us
Do you handle the permit?
Yes. We prepare the drawings and product approvals, file the permit with the city or the county, book the inspections and close the permit out when the job passes.
Will you quote a single door or window?
Yes. Plenty of jobs start with one sliding door or the windows on one side of the house. We price whatever you want to replace and keep the rest of the house in mind so later phases match.
Do you work in condo buildings?
Yes. We work from the association's hurricane-protection specifications, supply the NOAs and certificates of insurance it asks for, and schedule around building rules and elevator bookings.
